How does Omnium determine which times are available?+
For each location, Omnium combines opening hours, date-specific exceptions, repair duration, buffer, capacity, the booking window and existing Omnium appointments. A time appears only when the complete appointment plus buffer fits.
Can I block a lunch break or part of a day?+
Yes, through date-specific exceptions. Use two “Exceptionally open” rows for, for example, 09:00–12:00 and 13:00–18:00, choose “Block time” for one unavailable interval or close the entire day. Regular weekly hours use one continuous interval per day.
Can I manage multiple locations?+
Yes. Each location has its own contact details, timezone, opening hours, exceptions, capacity, change deadlines and optional calendar. Customers see availability for their chosen location. Omnium does not automatically assign appointments to staff, technicians or workbenches.
How does the Google Calendar or Outlook integration work?+
The integration is optional and configured per location. Omnium creates, updates and removes external calendar events in one direction. External events are not read and therefore do not block Omnium time slots.
Does a customer need an account for the customer portal?+
No. The customer receives a temporary management link by email and you configure how long it remains valid. After expiry, a new link can be requested with the email address and appointment or request number. The portal is not a permanent customer account.
